Back in my single days, I blogged quite frequently: Written Light Phography Blogspot. But then in September of 2009 I met the love of my life, Robert Travis... in February of 2010 we were married... and December 2010 we had our first baby boy, Gideon Luke... July 31st Coen Elyse came along... And in the midst of all this crazy-beautiful life transition and chaos, blogging just somehow slipped through the cracks. And gosh, I have really missed it!
So here I am again. Hello out there! I decided to start a new blog for this new season of my life. I have a passion for encouraging others as God encourages me. So my heart behind this blog is to share the little lessons and joys that My Heavenly Father brings to my life... I agonized over what to call it. I don't have a specific topic that I want to focus on because there are so many things that I enjoy: Faith, family, mommy-hood, photography, design, organization, frugal living, etc. So I'm not exactly sure what direction this blog will take, but for now, I am simply choosing to self-title it: Gina Lyn Houston. That's me. Here I am. Come along and share in the wonderful mundane beauty of the day-to-day glamourous life of wiping bottoms, sweeping up crumbs, kissing boo-boo's, loving well, and managing a home where faith and family are FIRST, above all else.
